Wow! We are a little over halfway through our fundraising campaign and we have raised $11,542--which is 72% of the way towards our final goal! $11,542 completely covers the cost of lodging for all of our performers and coaches for their 6-day trip to NYC and it also covers the cost of airfare for 9 of our performers! THANK YOU for helping to make this trip possible.
This week we received a very special note from a Gamma Phi Circus VIP, Bobbie Horton Theriault. Bobbie is the daughter of Gamma Phi Circus founder, Clifford "Pop" Horton and she has a message she'd like to share with you!
"The offer from THE Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is quite an honor for Gamma Phi Circus AND for Pop. I wish he could have seen it during his lifetime! Pop loved a parade, and to think that his beloved Gamma Phi Circus would be in THE Parade of Parades—the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade extravaganza on national television--would have made him SO proud! You are giving him a legacy he never dreamed of. Thank you all for your support and for making this opportunity possible! With love, Bobbie Horton Theriault"
Again, a huge thank you to everyone who has helped make this trip possible. Every gift made gets us one step closer to funding this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Please continue to help spread the word about our fundraising campaign so we can reach our final goal of $15,960 by November 22nd!
