Big Progress!

January 28, 2020

We've made a HUGE leap in donations to the Illinois State Track & Field/Cross Country Low-Impact Treadmill Project in the last week and are over $25,300 raised as of today. Thank you to all who generously gave! We have 3 more days for the online crowdfunding site, and we'll continue to fundraise until we meet our goal of $40,000. Your support is truly appreciated! Thank you again.

43% of the goal reached!

January 23, 2020

Thanks to everyone who helped us reach the challenge issued by alum Mike Straza (men’s T&F ‘92) as we fundraise for a impact-reducing treadmill for the Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country teams. We secured the additional $2,500 with 10 new donors and have reached 43% of the goal. Thank YOU!

Former men’s track & field athlete Larry Turilli (’78) has issued a challenge. He will donate an additional $2,500, if we can raise $500 in the next 72 hours for the #ISUTFTreadmill campaign.

We have 7 days left in the campaign and encourage you to show your support for Redbird Track & Field/Cross Country Today! Please continue to share and comment via social media and reach out to your teammates and Redbird fans via email. Your efforts are making a difference!

25% of the way there!

January 13, 2020

Thanks to all the Redbird Track & Field alumni and fans that already gave to the Track Treadmill Project. We are off to a great start with 25% of the goal raised to date.

The Impact-Reducing Treadmill will aid Redbird student-athletes in rehabilitation. It reduces the impact while running and allows for a gradual transition to support full body weight after injury. Take a look below to see what current student-athlete Rachel Hickey has to say about the impact on her career as a Redbird.

Please continue to share the need to fund the Track Treadmilll. Your support is appreciated!
